We are photographers based in Slovenia, and we can help you plan the photographs around the place and the experience you have in mind.
From a quiet morning at Lake Bled to a walk through Ljubljana or an evening by the sea in Piran, we photograph the moment as it unfolds. After the proposal, we can take a little time for natural portraits together. We also photograph engagement sessions when the proposal has already happened.
Surprise Proposal or Engagement Session: What’s the Difference?
For a surprise proposal, we agree on a meeting point, approximate time and a simple signal beforehand. You can focus on your partner while we photograph the reaction discreetly. Afterwards, we can make a few portraits without rushing the moment.
An engagement photoshoot is planned together as a couple. It gives you time to enjoy a place you love, get comfortable in front of the camera and create photographs to share with family or use for your wedding invitations.
You do not need to know how to pose. We offer gentle direction when it helps and leave room for the small, unscripted moments between you.

Lake Bled: Lake Views and a Slower Morning
Lake Bled is a lovely choice if you imagine the island, mountains and water in your photographs. The lakeside paths offer different views, but popular spots can be busy. If privacy matters to you, tell us when you enquire. We can discuss the timing and a suitable meeting point before settling on a proposal plan.
Ljubljana: A Proposal in the City
Ljubljana works beautifully for couples who would enjoy making the proposal part of a day together: a walk through the old town, a stop beside the Ljubljanica or time in a quieter green space. We can plan a short route with varied backgrounds, so the photographs feel like a shared experience rather than a series of poses.
Piran: The Sea and the Old Town
In Piran, narrow streets, stone buildings and the waterfront give an engagement session a different feel. We can choose a route that fits your plans, whether you want to propose by the sea or take portraits together after a private moment elsewhere.
Postojna Cave and the Postojna Area
If Postojna Cave is part of your trip, let us know before making it the centre of a proposal plan. Photography during a regular cave tour is allowed without flash or a tripod, but a planned professional session inside the cave needs to be checked with the operator in advance. Another option is to arrange your photoshoot elsewhere in the Postojna area as part of the same day.
Elsewhere in Slovenia
Your location does not have to be famous. We can discuss a photoshoot in Bohinj, on the coast, in the mountains or in another place that means something to you. Tell us where you are staying, how you are travelling and what kind of setting you both enjoy.

- Enjoy the experience. After the proposal, or during your engagement session, we make photographs at a comfortable pace.
